This level builds on the fundamentals of your salsa & bachata dancing that you learned in the absolute beginner class. You will start learning more turn patterns, new moves, footwork, and turns. A lot of focus will be put on connection and how to enhance your communication and response as a partner.

This level will get you moving with style and confidence. Let’s take your dancing to a new level with more intricate footwork and partner work turns.

Get ready to continue your journey. In level 1.5 you will continue to learn a solid foundational approach to the Basic Steps of New York-style Salsa. Pair that together with an array of shine steps to get you styling in no time. Not only will you learn the basic steps and basic shine steps, but we will also get you started in partner work making sure you learn to dance not just by yourself but with a partner and with true New York-Style flavor!
