Intro to Salsa Start here
A structured, progressive class for people who have never had formal salsa instruction. You'll learn to hear and feel the music before your first steps, so your timing is on the beat from day one. Half the class is footwork ("shines"), half is partner work. No experience or partner needed.
Level 1 Salsa
Build a solid foundation in the basic steps of New York-style salsa, paired with an array of shine steps. You'll also get started in partner work, so you learn to dance with a partner with true New York-style flavor.
Level 1.5 Salsa
Keep growing your foundation in New York-style salsa with more shine steps and more partner work, getting you ready for Level 2.
Level 2 Salsa
Builds on the fundamentals from the beginner levels. Learn more turn patterns, new moves, footwork and turns, with a big focus on connection and how to communicate and respond as a partner.
